It comes ready to install with a clear sump housing, OMNIFilter TO1 dual-purpose carbon wrap cartridge, filter wrench, and mounting bracket for 3/4" NPT plumbing connections. The built-in valve-in-head design includes a shut-off valve that allows you to change filter cartridges without turning off your main water supply. The clear housing lets you visually monitor the condition of the cartridge at a glance, so you know when it is time for a replacement. The U25 accepts any standard 10" x 2.5" filter cartridge, including OMNIFilter TO1 (carbon wrap), RS1 (pleated sediment), CB3 (carbon block), and GAC1 (granular activated carbon), giving you the flexibility to address different water quality concerns. The included TO1 cartridge provides a 15,000-gallon capacity and is designed for chlorinated water supplies. Replace approximately every 3 months.
