Details: Product Description Gaviscon Advance Oral Suspension provides fast, soothing and extra strength relief from heartburn, indigestion and acid reflux for up to 4 hours. It works in two ways by neutralising excess stomach acid to help relieve discomfort and forming a protective barrier over the stomach contents to help soothe the burning sensation in your chest. For symptoms of heartburn or indigestion, Gaviscon Advance Oral Suspension can help provide fast, soothing relief. You can take this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Medicines can affect the unborn baby. Always talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine during pregnancy. Gaviscon Advance Oral Suspension is for the relief of heartburn and indigestion. If symptoms are severe or prolonged, consult a doctor or pharmacist. Always read the label. Ingredients Each tablet contains sodium alginate 500 mg and potassium bicarbonate 100 mg. See leaflet for further information. Each 10 ml dose contains sodium alginate 1000 mg and potassium hydrogen carbonate 200 mg. See leaflet for further information. Directions For oral administration, after being thoroughly chewed. Adults and children 12 years and over: One to two tablets after meals and at bedtime. Children under 12 years: Should be given only on medical advice. If symptoms persists after 7 days consult your doctor. HEALTHY PLANET Medicines should not be disposed via household wastewater or household waste.
