- This is a replacement motor for one of the motors on dual motor rise and recliner chairs. Depending on the setup of the chair it may control either the Backrest or alternatively the footrest and rise functions.
- One of the motors on a dual motor chair will have 1 wire coming out of it and the other will have 3 coming out. You will need to establish whether your faulty motor is the 1 wire one or the 3 wire one. If neither motor is working on your chair it could be a handset or a power supply issue.
- Fitting the motor to a chair is straight forward. To remove your current motor first unplug it from both the power supply and the if needed the handset. Then simply remove the pin holding the actuator in place at each end and lift it out. Then place the new actuator in place and connect it up.
- This is suitable for Elite Care dual motor chairs: Hainworth, Burlington and Cavendish. It may fit other Brands and Models but we cannot confirm this.
